My name is Sean Ryan and I am a Big Boy Running.
If you are looking for amazing insights into fitness and food, look elsewhere.
This Blog site will be of my adventures and misadventures around training for my first Triathlon this summer and because my Facebook friends are tried of reading posts about my fitness goals.
My children will be referred to as BabyGirl and TheBoy if referred to at all.
You may be wondering why a guy that is training for a triathlon is smoking a cigar? Well if i meet my weekly work out goals i get what has affectionately been called #CigarSunday
I will have a separate page dedicated to my enjoyment of a nice cigar.
I have Type II Diabetes and exercise and diet are ways that I struggle to keep insulin or any other medications used to manage diabetes, free. I am not always successful - especially with the food and diet side but so goes the battle.
Since my diagnosis i have fluctuated in weight between 317lbs to my lowest weight of 260lbs. I now hover between 285-295lbs, which as most doctors will tell you is not healthy, but when i was 260lbs i looked sick, and honestly didnt like being size. My goal is 270lbs-275lbs that is where i looked like me and was able to feel good.
This page blog thing is new to me, I am doing it to keep myself honest about my goals, maybe get some tips from fellow readers, and have some fun with this new adventure of triathlon training.
